Oreo Cheesecake


A normal cheesecake has two main ingredients, whipped cream and cream cheese. These two ingredients make a cheesecake irresistible but are very high on calories. A normal cheesecake is not a healthy option as an evening snack, hence here we have perfect variants for the above mentioned ingredients that make a healthy and equally tasty and creamy cheesecake.

INGREDIENTS
  1. Oreo Cookies
  2. Melted Butter
  3. Egg Whites
  4. Greek Yogurt
  5. Vanilla Essence
PROCEDURE

  1. Open an Oreo Cookies and separate the cream inside it. Do this for about 2 packets of Oreo cookies.
  2. Grind about half of these cookies in a grinder and add melted butter to the mixture. Mix the cookie crush and the butter properly.
  3. Set the mixture in a container with the mixture totally covering the base of the container and the ensure that the cookie layer is not very thick.
  4. Set this in a refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  5. In the mean time we can prepare cream for your cheesecake.
  6. Take about 4-5 egg whites and blend them with a hand blender for about 5-7 minutes. The mixture should look like the image.
  7. This acts as a healthy variant towards whipped cream, now instead of cream cheese you can use Greek Yogurt.
  8. To make Greek Yogurt at home, use normal low fat yogurt but strain its excess water by hanging it in a cheesecloth or a regular handkerchief cloth overnight but make sure that the curd you are using is not sour in taste.
  9. You can also add some artificial sweeteners like Sugar Free Tablets to Greek Yogurt to add up to its sweetness. 
  10. Now add a teaspoon of vanilla essence to the Greek Yogurt and mix it with the egg white mixture and blend it properly.
  11. Randomly crush the remaining half of the Oreo cookies using your hands and put them in the above prepared mixture.
  12. Now take out the cheesecake base that has been refrigerating for about 30 minutes.
  13. Add the prepared mixture to the cheesecake base in the container and let the cake refrigerate for about 4-5 hours.
  14. After about 4-5 hours, free the cake from the edges using a knife and flip it over on a plate.
  15. Garnish it with some crushed Oreo cookies and serve.
